About HonestPDF
HonestPDF is a privacy-first PDF toolkit. Every tool runs 100% in your browser. We never upload, store, or access your files. You can verify this yourself in 30 seconds.
Why we built it
Most PDF tools online require you to upload sensitive documents to servers you don't control. Contracts, tax returns, medical records, client data: all sent to third parties with vague privacy policies and retention windows. Working with your own files shouldn't require trusting a stranger.
So we built the opposite: a toolkit where the file physically cannot leave your device, because there's no upload step at all. Processing happens in your browser using WebAssembly, the same technology behind modern in-browser apps like Figma and Google Earth.
