How do I extract pages from a PDF?

Does the original file change?
No. Your original stays exactly as it was on disk. Extracting produces a new file and never writes back to the source.
Can I extract pages that are not next to each other?
Yes. The selection does not have to be continuous, so you can take pages 2, 7 and 15 into one document.
Can I get one file per page?
Yes. There is an option to save each selected page as its own PDF instead of combining them, which is what you want when the pages are being filed separately.
What is the difference between extracting and splitting?
