Is the rotation permanent or only in the viewer?
Permanent. HonestPDF writes the rotation directly into the PDF page rotation property, so any viewer, printer, or browser displays the page in its rotated orientation.
Can I rotate just one page or only some pages?
Yes. Each thumbnail has its own rotation buttons for individual rotation, or use bulk actions like Rotate odd pages only or Rotate even pages only to handle double-sided scan corrections.
Why are some PDF pages stuck in the wrong orientation?
Because the original PDF was created with the page rotation flag set to a wrong value, often by scanners or mobile apps. Rotating with HonestPDF rewrites that flag permanently.
Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle like 17 degrees?
No. The PDF format supports only 0, 90, 180, and 270 degree rotations as native page properties. Arbitrary-angle rotation requires re-rasterizing the page, which causes quality loss.
