Your names stay yours
A certificate carries somebody's name, and often a whole class of them. Nothing typed here is sent anywhere: the layout is worked out in your browser and the PDF is drawn there too, so the list of people you are awarding never reaches a server at all. There is no account to make and nothing to delete afterwards.

Is the certificate really made in my browser?
Yes. The names, dates and the PDF itself are all produced on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and closing the tab is all it takes to be rid of the data.
Can I print it, or is it only for sending?
Both. The PDF is a real A4 or US Letter sheet at full print resolution, so it prints on ordinary paper or card as it appears on screen. Landscape is the default because that is how most certificates are printed.
Is there a watermark, or a limit on how many I can make?
No watermark and no limit. You can make one certificate or a hundred, and none of them will carry our name unless you type it in yourself.
Can I put my organisation's stamp on it?
There is a round seal you can turn on, and it carries whatever words you give it, or the name of the awarding organisation if you leave it blank. It is drawn as part of the certificate, so it prints crisply at any size.
Can two people sign the same certificate?
Yes, up to two. Each gets a rule to sign above, with the name and role printed underneath. One signature is centred and two are spread either side of the middle.
Is the text in the PDF real text?
Yes. The certificate is drawn with real text rather than as a picture, so a name can be searched for, selected and copied out of the file, and it stays sharp however far it is zoomed in.
Can I make certificates for a list of names at once?
Yes. Switch the name box to A list, paste one name per line, and choose whether you want a single PDF with a page each, a zip of separate PDFs, or a zip of PNG images. Up to 200 names at a time. Numbering like "1." or "-" pasted from a register is stripped automatically. Because everything runs in your browser, the list of people you are certifying is never sent anywhere.
Can I add my own logo, and can I save a PNG instead of a PDF?
Both. Choose Add a logo to put your mark above the heading; it is read on your device, shrunk to a sensible size and carried inside the file. For the output, pick PNG picture instead of PDF if you want to post the certificate rather than print it. The PNG is rendered from the same document at print resolution.
Can I use a background picture and a scanned signature?
Yes to both. Add a background puts a picture behind the whole sheet, at one of three strengths; the palest is the default because dark text on a photograph is the quickest way to lose the name the certificate exists to show. Turn it up and the quieter lines darken by themselves so nothing goes unreadable. Scanned signature puts a photo of a real signature on the rule above each name, kept as PNG so the paper shows through it rather than a white box. Both are read in your browser and travel inside the file.
