Does deleting a page reduce the file size?
Usually yes, since the page's images and fonts go with it, though the saving depends on what was actually on that page. A page of plain text frees very little.
Is the rest of the document re-encoded?
No. The pages you keep are copied across as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
Is deleting a page the same as redacting it?
No, and the difference matters. Deleting removes the whole page. If you need to hide a name or a number on a page you are keeping, use the Redact tool, which removes the underlying content rather than covering it.
Can I undo a deletion?
Nothing is saved until you download, and your original file on disk is never changed. A deleted page cannot be brought back on its own: to start again, press Cancel and open the file again.
Is there a page limit?
No fixed limit. Very large documents are bounded only by your device's memory.
