How accurate is the table extraction process?
It reads each table the way it is drawn. When lines divide a table into cells, every value goes into the cell drawn around it, so text that wraps onto a second line stays in one cell. When a table has no lines, its columns are the gaps that run down the whole table, so an empty cell stays empty instead of pulling the next value into its place. Text outside tables comes out one line to a row, and each page gets its own worksheet. One thing to check: where a cell's text wraps onto a second line and no line separates the rows, the second line becomes a row of its own. All of it happens in your browser, without uploading the file.
Can I extract tables from scanned PDF documents?

Does the conversion preserve numeric formatting and formulas?
No. Every cell arrives as text, numbers included, so Excel marks them as numbers stored as text and offers to convert them before you calculate. PDFs do not store formulas, so any calculations have to be re-created in Excel.
